ORMED INFORMATION SYSTEMS LTD. ATTRIBUTES RECORD EARNINGS TO "TAKING OUR OWN ADVICE"

EDMONTON, CANADA: It's a case of "Do as I say...and as I do" for Ormed Information Systems Ltd., the leading management information systems supplier in North America that today announced its second consecutive year of record-setting revenues and earnings in 2004.

The award-winning Canadian inventor of integrated E-Business software solutions that automate business processes and create E-Business communities to achieve bottom-line savings itself achieved a net profit margin of 41 per cent by implementing its own software solutions and re-engineering its way of doing business.

"We are very pleased with our financial performance these past two years and on-track for a third record-setting year in 2005," president and CEO Chris Sherback told shareholders. "We took a page from our own sales pitch by implementing our own products and, just as we tell prospective Ormed customers, the savings went right to the bottom line and are enabling us to aggressively pursue new markets and product enhancements."

Ormed Information Systems develops, implements, maintains, and supports integrated E-Business software (ORMED MIS) and services (including the ORMED XT B2B Internet portal) for finance, supply chain, HR, client, E-Commerce, and systems management, and decision support.

"Since implementing our own E-Business solutions, we've recorded the highest profits in the company's history while continuing to refine our products, increase our market share, and achieve a high level of customer satisfaction," Sherback said.

Having proven the stability and performance of its products in the demanding healthcare industry, the company has made a strategic decision to focus its expansion plans outside of healthcare in order to further diversify its client base and open new avenues for long-term growth.

"I consider the lessons of the dot-com craze -- and subsequent crash -- to be invaluable for aiding our planning for the next five," Sherback said. "We anticipate that our strength and reputation in healthcare will act as a springboard for expansion into several key industry sectors and markets where a higher level of understanding and adoption of the Internet will not just enhance, but significantly improve organizational productivity and efficiency, quality of service, and the work life of employees.

"Our software and services harness the power of the Internet to enable businesses and organizations to achieve optimal operational efficiency, reduce costs, streamline decision-making, and improve profitability.

"We've seen it work. We use it ourselves, and the bottom-line results are unmistakable."

I think their reporting system is just wonderful. It's very advanced, very thorough, and it meets our needs very well.
