ORMED JOINS WITH HEALTHCARE DECISION SYSTEMS INC. TO PROVIDE BEST-OF-BREED DECISION SUPPORT SOFTWARE SOLUTIONS

EDMONTON, AB: Ormed is pleased to announce that they are strengthening their healthcare software specialization by merging with Healthcare Decision Systems Inc. (HDS) of Bloomington, MN. The merger, made possible through Ormed’s acquisition of HDS’ assets, brings together both company’s products and best practices under the Ormed banner. HDS’ proven suite of decision support software, Med-Link, includes modules in Cost Accounting and Budgeting, Flexible Budgeting, and Case Mix/Patient Costing. The Med-Link modules will be a key part of Ormed’s Business Intelligence Suite alongside Discovery EIS and MIS Reporting.
