ORMED CELEBRATES 20 YEARS IN HEALTHCARE

 

 

EDMONTON, AB: Ormed Information Systems Ltd., the largest Canadian supplier of healthcare back-office accounting software, national winner of the E-Business Leadership Award in 2002 and winner of ITAC Heath (formally known as CHITTA) 2008 Corporate Citizenship Award, is proud to be celebrating 20 years of business.

 

By introducing a Supply Chain Management Suite in 1989, Ormed expanded its borders from a consulting practice to a leading healthcare software specialist. In its 20 years of business Ormed has continuously met high demands for healthcare software, providing more than 25 fully integrated programs of supply chain, finance, business intelligence, and human resources to the market. Working closely with clientele derived throughout Canada, the United States, and abroad, Ormed has successfully implemented over 2,700 applications, including free upgrades, in over 350 healthcare facilities.

 

With four generations of advanced software technology, Ormed remains ahead of ongoing technological trends in healthcare, introducing products in e-commerce and financial reporting through Ormed X and Business Intelligence. This evolution in healthcare software was developed by consulting Ormed’s clientele through annual Leadership Forums and User Group meetings, where Ormed and clients discuss the current needs and trends in the market.

Such new collaborations have allowed Ormed to broaden their healthcare objectives, leading the way for new products in the future. With the upcoming release of Consolidated Demand Management software in fall 2009, Ormed continues its commitment to cutting edge e-commerce and naturally green best-practices.
