ITAC HEALTH RECOGNIZES ORMED WITH CORPORATE CITIZENSHIP AWARD
EDMONTON, AB: Ormed Information Systems received the Corporate Citizenship Award and was recognized as a community leader driving healthcare information technology.
The Corporate Citizenship Award for Small to Medium Enterprises is given to companies who invest in and promote healthcare information technology and support the healthcare community.
“Originally, we saw initiatives as advertising and promotion opportunities to get our name into the market and to get to know some of the people involved in healthcare. After meeting these people, you become infected by their passion. After 20 years, it’s obvious these organizations need our financial assistance to survive. We’re very proud to contribute to such worthy causes,” says Chris Sherback, Ormed President and CEO.
“Ormed has distinguished themselves in the health ICT industry as a forward-thinking and socially-minded company that, through the efforts of its staff and management, gives back to the community they live in and serve,” says Brendan Seaton, President of ITAC Health.
