E-COMMERCE LEADER APPOINTED ORMED PRODUCT MANAGER

EDMONTON, CANADA:  Ormed Information Systems today announced the appointment of Mr. Steven Levson as Product Manager for its E-Commerce Management Suite, reporting to Mr. Saul Colodny, vice president of marketing and professional services, effective December 3, 2007. 

Mr. Levson has many years of experience managing e-commerce within healthcare organizations. A leading advocate for e-commerce, he is a sitting member on the board of the Healthcare Supply Chain Network (HSCN). He has been associated with Ormed’s e-commerce solutions while with Emergis, working for six years with CareNET, Canada’s e-commerce association in healthcare, where he implemented and supported e-commerce solutions for many Canadian hospitals and healthcare facilities.

To be located in London, Ontario, Mr. Levson will be responsible for managing the development of Ormed’s e-commerce suite, including the ORMED X B2B Internet portal, the integrated ORMED X Easy Pay reconciliation and payment system, and ORMED X E-Tendering, a new product currently in development. He will also be responsible for providing support to Ormed’s e-commerce clients and assisting ORMED MIS clients to evolve their supply chain business processes to fully benefit from the time and cost-savings available through e-commerce.
