ORMED APPOINTS VICE PRESIDENT OF PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AND MARKETING

EDMONTON, CANADA:  Ormed Information Systems today announced the appointment of financials process expert Saul Colodny to the new position of vice president of professional services and marketing, reporting to Chris Sherback, president and CEO. The appointment is effective immediately and continues the company’s strategic expansion at the senior management level to drive corporate growth, customer satisfaction, and intensified market penetration across the US and Canada.  

Now located in Kentucky, much of Colodny’s 26-year career in healthcare has focused on planning and implementing process improvements that corrected revenue flow and enhanced the efficiency of hospitals and healthcare systems. His career has included 19 years with hospital software and service-providers QuadraMed and IBAX (now McKesson) and seven years working directly in hospitals and health systems.

At Ormed he will oversee the delivery of service and support to clients and prospects, and act as a channel manager in key Ormed relationships with allied vendors. His mission will be to ensure Ormed implementations, ongoing support, and new product development align with corporate goals and enhance relationships with current and future Ormed healthcare clients. He will also manage Ormed's image and corporate message to ensure consistency with company goals and product strategy.

Reporting to Colodny will be Ormed’s finance, business intelligence, supply chain, e-commerce, human resources, and systems management product management teams, as well as the company’s marketing and corporate communications divisions.

Colodny has a Bachelor of Science (Florida State University) and is an active member of the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA).
