WINCHESTER DISTRICT MEMORIAL HOSPITAL CHOOSES ORMED

EDMONTON, CANADA:  Ormed Information Systems today announced that Winchester District Memorial Hospital has selected the fully integrated ORMED MIS™ Supply Chain Management and Finance Management software suites to streamline its materials management and finance business processes. 

“A positive recommendation from Cornwall Community Hospital, an Ormed client which is also in the Champlain Local Health Integrated Network, helped Ormed win this client,” says Steve Caughers, Ormed’s vice president of sales. “We really appreciate the goodwill of our clients in helping us extend the Ormed network in Canada and the US.”

Winchester District Memorial Hospital is a 55-bed hospital comprising 38 acute care and 17 complex continuing care beds. It is launching a major capital project this spring, scheduled for completion in summer 2009, when it will have the latest and most advanced technologies in clinical and supporting applications.
