Product Support Specialist -- Supply Chain Management and E-Commerce

In this entry level position, you will primarily be required to provide product support for Supply Chain and E-commerce. In addition to product support, the successful candidate will assist in software testing for the full product line of both ORMED MIS Supply Chain Management and ORMED X E-commerce.

The successful candidate enjoys working with computers and software, has an understanding of the Internet and e-commerce as it pertains to purchasing, inventory control, contracting, and contract management services, and has effective interpersonal and written skills for dealing with clients.

Preference will be given to applicants who have experience in customer service, have worked in the healthcare supply chain department, or have a general understanding of the various activities such as purchasing, inventory management, and e-commerce. You should have experience with Microsoft systems such as Office and SQL Server, and a strong desire to learn about the latest in new technology.

This position provides an excellent starting point for individuals who are interested in learning and understanding the software requirements of the healthcare industry, and is the first step for advancement within a growing software company.

 

Application Consultant -- Supply Chain Management

We are currently seeking an experienced Supply Chain Management (SCM) Application Consultant for full-time employment in our Edmonton head office. The position is primarily responsible for providing project management and end-user training for Ormed's supply chain and e-commerce applications, with the following responsibilities:

Professional Services Tasks

  • Provide application and business analyst consulting services
  • Identify solutions through understanding client requirements and researching the options available in our products
  • Develop Functional specifications for clients
  • Develop/update project management documentation
  • Communicate with customers in a timely and professional manner including management and escalation of client issues as appropriate
  • Maintain and enhance application knowledge by attending formal training

Project Management

  • Conduct Project Workshops and ongoing project management for assigned implementations
  • Follow Ormed Project Implementation Methodology
  • Ensure clients are aware of Professional Services charges for all tasks, by forwarding project documentation/guidelines to the client
  • Contribute to the ongoing development of Ormed Implementation Methodologies and associated documentation
  • Participated in at least one full cycle implementation
  • Strong relationship building and communication skills
  • High regard for customer satisfaction

Assist Business Development Team

  • Handling Client issues
  • Maintaining client details on SCM
  • Provide product demonstrations for both SCM and E-commerce

General

  • Travel to assist on projects
  • Promote a positive, proactive and professional work ethic to Ormed customers, partners and staff.
  • Maintain accurate and timely activity and billing details through Ormed’s time recording application
  • Prepare your own letters and photocopying
  • Other duties as requested

The successful candidate will have a solid understanding of client service philosophies, and knowledge of business practices and standard policies and procedures as they relate to the product in the area of supply chain and e-commerce. Extensive ORMED MIS Supply Chain Management application knowledge would be a definite asset. Proficiency with personal computer tools, preferably Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel and Project, is required.

Application Consultant -- Finance Management

We are currently seeking a permanent full-time Financial Software Application Consultant to work in our Edmonton head office. The position is responsible for assisting with healthcare Management Information Systems (MIS) project implementations, product demonstrations, software design and testing, and technical support.

The position requires a Bachelor of Commerce/Administration or equivalent technical accounting diploma.  An accounting designation (CA, CMA, and CGA) or enrolment in a recognized program leading to an accounting designation would be a definite asset. Experience related to financial MIS implementation and support, or with ORMED MIS products would be highly desirable. Candidates with limited accounting or software experience will be considered for an entry-level position.

Application Consultant -- Accounts Receivable/Billing (Vancouver, BC)


We are currently seeking a permanent full-time Accounts Receivable/Billing Application Consultant to work in Vancouver. You will be responsible for assisting with Healthcare Management Information Systems (MIS) project management and implementation, product demonstrations, software design, software testing, and technical and product support.


The successful candidate will love working with computers and software, have a solid understanding of the Internet, AR/Billing business processes, and finance management generally, and have effective interpersonal and written skills for dealing with clients.


Preference will be given to applicants who have completed post-secondary education, such as a Bachelor of Commerce degree or Business Administration diploma with a major in accounting. In-depth knowledge of Microsoft systems, such as Office and SQL Server, is an asset, as is strong affection for technology, finance management, and the Internet in general.


AR/billing experience, healthcare experience, a professional accounting designation (complete or in-progress), and software implementation experience is preferred.

Product Support Specialist -- Human Resources Management and Payroll

We are currently seeking a permanent full-time Human Resources Management and Payroll Product Support Specialist to work in our Edmonton head office. This entry level position is responsible for assisting with Healthcare Management Information Systems (MIS) project management and implementation, product demonstrations, software design, software testing, technical and product support.

The successful candidate will love working with computers and software, have a solid understanding of the Internet and human resources and payroll best practice, and have effective interpersonal and written skills for dealing with clients.

Preference will be given to applicants who have completed post-secondary education, such as a Bachelor of Commerce degree or Business Administration diploma, preferably with a specialization in human resources or payroll. In-depth knowledge of Microsoft systems, such as Office and SQL Server, is an asset, as is strong affection for technology and the Internet in general.

Human resources and/or payroll experience, CHRP (Certified Human Resources Professional) or CPM (Certified Payroll Manager) designation and/or equivalent work experience in human resources and/or payroll management and software implementation is preferred.

Application Consultant (senior level) and Product Support Specialist (intermediate) -- E-Commerce

We are currently seeking permanent full-time E-Commerce professionals to work in our Edmonton head office: a senior level Application Consultant with experience launching and implementing new software solutions (supply chain experience desirable), and an intermediate level Product Support Specialist with previous involvement in and knowledge of the supply chain process.

These exciting positions will get you in on the ground floor of rolling out to existing and prospective clients new leading edge technology that increases business process efficiency and reduces healthcare costs. Collaborating with clients, merchants, and other members of Ormed’s growing Professional Services team, you will be responsible for assisting with E-Commerce project management and implementation, product and service demonstrations, software testing, and technical and product support.

Successful candidates will enjoy working with computers and software, have a solid understanding of the Internet and e-commerce as it pertains to purchasing, contracting, tendering, and contract management services, and have effective interpersonal and written skills for dealing with clients. PMAC Certified Professional Purchasing program completion and/or equivalent education and work experience in supply chain management/logistics and software implementation is preferred. In-depth knowledge of and proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access) and Lotus Notes and Team Headquarters (desirable).
